I sometimes feel we are limited in options for our high functioning autistic children. We often service them in emotional support which creates a hard dichotomy especially as the kids get older and their needs become far different than those who are truly Emotionally Disturbed.

Making sure learners are placed an appropriate placement. When learners with emotional needs/physical aggression are placed in other classes it affects ALL learners. It takes time and staff to repond to these needs missing other learners needs.

We need progress monitoring tools for levels beyond 8th grade. Many learners have met goals in area of need, but we continue to "come up with" goals and sometimes not even related to the original need.
