She doesn't really question the system at all, and instead sort of mindlessly follows. Her primary intention within the scenes in this story is to fulfill her expected role in society, and her thoughts seem to be rather perfectly in line with the World State. She serves as a foil to Bernard, who questions and does not go along with the society.

This physical stature is tied to his mental perception of himself, due to the way that genetic status is connected to social status based on the selective breeding used in the society of Brave New World.
