         <description><![CDATA[<p>When skin is scraped against a surface.</p><p><br/></p><p>Initially, you want to stop the bleeding and clean the wound with a cloth, you can also apply some type of ointment to help prevent chances of infection</p><p><br/></p><p>Depending on the size of the abrasion you won't need to worry much about referrals unless it's huge and reaches deep.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When blunt force is applied over a sharp bone that's poorly padded that makes the wound look like an edge cavity</p><p><br/></p><p>Initially, you want to clean your wound and stop the bleeding. You can also apply ointment to help decrease chances of infection, then cover your wound with something like a medical bandage</p><p><br/></p><p>Depending on the size of the Laceration, stitches and referrals to medical facilities may be reccomended</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Typically a narrow wound caused by the entry of an outside object through the skin and tissue</p><p><br></p><p>Initially, do what you always should and clean the wound and attempt to stop the bleeding, try to cover the wound in anyway you can</p><p><br></p><p>EMS should be called for serious puncture wounds as they can be very fatal, you also might want to consider shots for other diseases after suffering a bad puncture wound such as tetanus</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When skin is torn off the body</p><p><br></p><p>Try to stop the bleeding and clean the wound and make sure to use water, you want to try and cover the wound with a bandage and not remove any skin that is only partially attached</p><p><br></p><p>While avulsions typically aren't deadly unless it involves a limb being torn off, going to the doctor is still recommended for bigger and bloody avulsions, you want to keep regular check ups with the doctor and consider a tetanus shot</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>You should always follow these universal precautions</p><p><br></p><p>Wear protective equipment such as gloves or a mask</p><p><br></p><p>Use protective adhesives such as bandages to cover the wound </p><p><br></p><p>Clean dirty wounds and surfaces, specifically clean the blood off</p><p><br></p><p>Dispose of any material that was contaminated with blood or any other potentially hazardous thing</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>
