Sagmeister decided to create his own Music Cover designing company ‘Sagmeister Inc’ ad created his first piece for his friend. This led to his business growing to artists such as David Byrne’s album ‘feelings’. He has now received three Grammys.

From these new areas a book was published about him based on graphic design and led to his work being published in Victoria and Albert museum.

Carson was able to revolutionise the graphic scene in America in the 1990s through directing the magazine ‘Ray Gun’. This is where he first implemented his distant typographic layouts. This led to him being labelled ‘the godfather of grunge typography’. Carson soon created his own business ‘David Carson Design’ and made brand deals with Nike, Pepsi Cola, Ray Bans, Levi Strauss and more.

His use of black ink creates the characteristics in the piece with the colour filling it in to make them sand out.

Instead of      creating the piece with having the animals form the shape of the letter, she placed the letter into the animals natural environment and had them surrounding it. 

I like how each piece is able to relate to one another with all the various layers that cast shadows to create the sense of depth. From this It makes me want to pursue the highlights and shadows art style because I will be able to have different components overlap with one another. 

Kosarevas art style is fairly similar to  pointillism because it has a lot of different dots to create the shadows and texture within each piece.

Although I am currently thinking about creating a digital art piece, I am still very inspired by her work and can take some areas away from it that I can apply to my work as well as areas I can find that already relate to my work. 

The first area that I think will relate to my work is that she has created pieces based on a colour using purely that colour. I have been thinking about the various words I will be using for my final piece and I thought colours would be a nice reference to art as well as connecting objects that otherwise wouldn't relate to one another. 

Karnik also created a piece on life which she filled with shapes that related to life. This is similar to what I will be doing by having subjects to relate the overall word.

Lucchini edited his photographs so that they ended up being solely the letter with a clean black background.
