<title>Within all three of our production pieces the cover artist is a solo artist and all of them are of a white colour. This reinforces the white hegemonic ideology that white artists are more dominant within the pop industry. Within R&amp;B and Rap, the majority of artists are black. We have one male and two female artists presented on the covers of the magazines and all are in different poses and stances. Morgan and Bethany who feature on the covers are standing with power and dominance. Morgan is looking down the camera lens throwing a peace sign in front of her, which also promotes youth and her age. Bethany is standing with her arms wide and outwards on her hips which signifies authority and supremacy. This means, that when girls see these images it empowers them and they will start to look up to these stars which diminishes male dominance. Within Luke’s magazine, the star is standing in a way Justin Bieber might and this can attract both genders. Girls may find the star attractive and boys may want to copy his style or idolise him. All of our magazines are formed and changed to fit our chosen artists. For example Bethany is more glam and reflects a Taylor Swift, girly style and this is shown in the rest of the magazine by the use of more pink tones and the article is very much based on Bethany being the Star. Another of our magazines is more Alternate/Indie and this is shown in the same way as the magazine style is more blue tones and grunge. The last magazine with the cover artist being a male, the colours used are bright and conform to the pop genre, he has also used the replay logo to navigate the colour scheme.Although all of our magazines are for both genders, we thought keeping them different and having a theme following the artist will make them more appealing for our audience and stand out against the competition.</title>
