Negative: There are hate groups that are causing destruction because they don't like slaves being free, and they want to make them scared. There's high rates of segregation by race, and African Americans are getting worse quality facilities. There are grandfather clauses, which make people who haven't voted already (usually newly freed slaves) have to pay poll taxes, and take literacy tests before voting. Share Cropping is an unfair system which is basically like slavery. It keeps poor families poor, but it's many people's only hope for food.
