Some trans people are annoyed and insulted by other people's opinions, while others are fine with it, one trans person saying "A lot of people have it in their head that we wake up and decide to be trans. I want people to know that it’s not a choice." and another saying " I thought, these people don’t know me, I don’t think anyone should be able to tell you who you are and how to live your life. Yourself is yourself, even in the religious community." Trans people have had a lot of trouble over time including discrimination and bullying, which can cause them things like depression. In general, trans people do not want you telling you who they are or what they should do, just like we wouldn't enjoy that either.

source: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2016/jul/10/transgender-stories-people-think-we-wake-up-and-decide-to-be-trans

Transgenders react to bullying by being insecure and hide in their bubble the whole time. They become really stressed, finding a tough time and losing a few friends because of them being transgender.

If you are getting bullied because you're a transgender you tell your parent and report it to a trusted teacher. But if you are too afraid to tell your parents and teacher you could tell a trusted friend to support you to get it to stop. If the bullying involves threats or violence then it should be reported to the police as a hate crime. Many police forces have specialist who deal with these problems/incident. But if people are bullying you online because you are transgender just screenshot it as evidence and show it to your parents, teachers or to the police.

Source: https://www.bullying.co.uk/general-advice/what-is-homophobic-bullying/

This is what they call their starting point in collaboration.
What can the community do to help the transgender people that are being negatively affected by the community?

As a community and just as a person, you can help trans people by doing simple basic things. Make sure to use the name and pronouns they prefer, if they don't know which pronouns and name they prefer, give them time.
A 2011 survey conducted by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and National Center for Transgender Equality showed that 41% of trans people had attempted suicide, as compared to 1.6% of the general population, so just like with all people a nice comment or a hello can brighten someone's day and make them feel good, so just remember, don't be a dick, be nice to them and treat them just as you'd treat anyone else.
