         <description><![CDATA[<div>Dietary supplements are "vitamins, minerals herbals and botanicals, amino acids, enzymes, and many other products" (Unit 5 iBook 11) that can help or improve our health.  Supplements are taken by most Americans and can be extremely helpful. When taking supplements make sure to do plenty of research on the side-effects and major effects of the supplement. You should even ask your doctor if taking this supplement is a good idea.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Americans want cheap food, and we are getting it. But, with the cheap food, we're getting bad food. "The two cheapest substances of calories and corn and soy," (Unit 5 iBook 12) and therefore they have become a major part of our diets. When we don't use corn or soy, and instead ship in foods from other places we "depletes the food of nutrients" (Unit 5 iBook 13) and makes it even worse for us. </div>]]></description>
