She entered the health care field following receipt of her master of arts in occupational therapy, which she completed while caring for a full case load of clinical patients. During this time, Brenda Hanna also demonstrated high levels of organizational skills by developing and implementing care plan improvements. She went on to become an occupational therapist at Rehab First Inc. There, she assessed and developed comprehensive treatment plans for patients with a variety of challenges, from brain and spinal cord injuries to amputation. She left this position in the summer of 2011 to become owner and operations manager with AchieveMax Rehabilitation, where she also served as clinical supervisor. Ms. Hanna led AchieveMax for six years, during which time she continued to serve in direct patient-care roles, first with Bayshore Therapy and Rehabilitation and later as a consultant to Karen Rucas and Associates.
