Immigration is, "An issue in Europe". Many countries in the EU took in large amounts of refugees, from mainly Mediterranean countries in 2015. This issue became prominent in 2015 with the "Refugee Crisis" with Turkey. After this immigration became a prominent topic in the EU. People were tense when it came to this, but with time all this faded. Main concerns were and are still with security and terrorism. Not much has been done concerning immigration. Turkey has really been the only country that has had the "hammer dropped on them" because the EU has implied certain laws to restrict immigration from them. Public concern with the topic of immigration and refugees is very high.

The picture below is showing refugees arriving illegally in Greece.

The EU has had a strong economy and after the shock of Brexit, it is improving. There are also many issues plaguing the EU's economy, one of them being the trade policy. Some other issues are with trade to countries outside of the EU, Brexit, and America's economic policies. Since Europe "has many competitive countries", they are working on finding ways to keep their economy thriving.

Below is a picture from the outside of a European stock exchange.

This is really only talking about how data protection and many things involving the internet and transfer of data is handled. There are plans to implement laws to protect data and things like that. Like most of these topics, there is a concern for this as there are many changes happening in the EU and from governments around the world. The "EU is making incremental progress towards achieving the goal of General Data Protection".

The EU's foreign and security policy seems very sound. The European Global Strategy is a reason for this. This pretty much gave better security in the EU and gave closer ties to NATO which means that they can get help in times of need. There also many issues that have to deal with the countries that won't cooperate such as Russia, Ukraine, Syria etc. Hopes are high that the parliament will address this issue.

Now that the UK has left the EU, there is a large question of justice and politics. Who decides what the laws will be, now that they've left their "government"? Everyone is in a frenzied state of confusion, and many countries are talking about leaving. Who knows what will happen next.

The EU was originally formed to create unity and free trade. Then the UK surprised everyone by leaving. Meanwhile in the UK, everyone was raging against each other debating whether to leave or not. The major consensus was that they needed to leave because the EU was stifling them with their laws. Say hello to Brexit.
