One day though, I sat through my first horror movie. It was District 9, maybe not necessarily a horror film. Since then I've always enjoyed horror films and was excited to go to haunted houses. It was a fun type of scared where no one gets hurt. But horror has influenced me, by bringing on this world of experimental ideas of what truly scares us. Is it really about a scary monster? Or the monsters that reside within us that are far scarier.
