The first week was very enriching. I would have liked to see more depth in the Hangzhou Strategic Action Plan for UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Program (2026-2035) and the Mediterranean Pact.

To make our meetings more effective, I suggest grouping questions by theme instead of answering them based on popularity. Ranking by votes can be biased, as people often vote on the first few questions and don't check back later. Grouping will also help us avoid repetitive answers and save time.

It was an interesting overview of the topic, especially for those who are new or relatively new to these issues. Of particular interest were the updates from the last meeting in China and the links between UNESCO programmes and the SDGs.

Information about BR zonification is explained in several units, but without depth. One extended explanation with good examples would be enough.

The ‘meet the experts’ session could be better structured to make it more enriching. Perhaps questions should be submitted no later than the day before. These could then be grouped together so that there are fewer questions for the experts, but more opportunities for participants to get involved in the session. During the session, the experts would then only answer the grouped questions and, if there is time, any questions that arise during the discussion.

The first week's courses provided us with the fundamental principles for the BRs.

We learned about the Hangzhou Strategic Action Plan, the SDGs, the KMGBF and the nuances between the concepts of governance and management, ...

Finally, discovering the magnificent and diverse landscapes, fauna, flora of the Asteroussia site (video) and the project across the five sites was very inspiring.
