Flower bath therapy is one of the treatment methods in Malay medicine that has the potential to help prevent and treat disease. Rich in antioxidants and magnesium, helps lose weight, keeps blood sugar under control, purifies blood, antidiabetic, good for eyes and skin, and also increases fluoride excretion. Studies show that the fiber in tamarind can actually help in weight loss because it contains flavonoids and polyphenols.
