Every time your child reads at home or at school I would like it to be noted in this book. I am working my way through 40 children this week and next and by next week, your children should have a reading book that is challenging for them.

Please read this book with your child three times during the week. It would be best if it was an active activity, perhaps before bedtime, where you work together to decode words that your child might find challenging.

This means 2 things = they will receive a new book next week and they will have two dictee tests, for week 1 and 2 phonics. Dont worry though - we have been working through these in class and your children are brilliant at working out which letter to use.
