Overall, the three central points for Reaganomics was to deregulate businesses, use private contractors, and decrease spending on social programs. As a result, Reagan signed two tax bills in law in 1981 and 1986. Overall, I think this influences people's memory of the Reagan administration because he brought the nation out of the recession in an effective way.
