Raina is a nifty chatbot, I must say! When watching the video about Raina, I became intrigued with how the tool has multiple facets that can engage my students. I loved how the speaker talked about Raina creating math stations based on the information he had supplied. My class loves "Rotation Stations" in various subjects. Raina can help me create various ideas that would engage every learner in my class.

Benefits of using Rania:

Lesson Planning – This can generate lesson plans quickly using the objective stated by the teacher giving the teacher more time to explore engaging activities.

Personalized Learning - gives diverse ways for the teacher to execute the same objective for a lesson.

Resource – offers a different stragey or an engaging alternative. (It is like collaborating with someone without googling everything)

Limitations of using Rania:

Limited Creativity – While AI can generate structured lesson plans, it may not always know the students or the culture of the classroom. So it could be restrictive on the creativity of activities for the lesson.

Accessibility – Maybe some areas may have many technical issues or not the experience of using AI (given the training)

Human Insight and Input - A teacher has background knowledge of her students and understands some challenges they may have so the personal touch can not be replaced by Rania. In addition the chatbot is only good as the input information.

Raina can save me time by the numerous jobs it can do. Helping with difficult parent emails, generating creative activities for presenting topics to students and providing the excitement back into teaching. Yes, there are some limits to Raina, but, I have to say that using this has put a new spark in my creativity.

Rania can quickly generate a lesson plan with a plethora of ideas to engage the students by directing me to the correct tools. Rania can collaborate with me so I may be given some creative ideas to present my lessons for example Rapbot to compare fairy tales and fractured fairy tales. Assignments can be modified to the student's level of learning so they can feel confident in completing the assignment, especially in reading material. Using Raina to support my lesson planning will save time and help my lessons be more engaging. I usually spend a lot of time finding activities to accompany my lessons, and Raina can do this almost instantly. Raina can also suggest classroom management strategies that I may not consider. I will need to check the accuracy of Raina's responses and determine the strategies that are best for my group of students.

My classroom has students of varying abilities. I hope to utilize Raina to help me differentiate lessons and activities. I spend a considerable amount of time differentiating for my students with needs and don't effectively provide challenging material and assignments for my advanced students.

I just recently started using Raina and I asked her just today to help me to find some or at least "jog my memory" for some different ways to help me teach my children to respect my rules for the noise volume in the room. They have such a difficult time when I ask them to work in a whisper voice, or inside voice. She confirmed what I am already doing and had some other fun suggestions too! Can't wait to try some of them tomorrow! I will definitely be using her more now that I know how helpful she can be!

The benefits to using Raina are endless. There's just so many things you can ask her to "assist" you with in the classroom; she's like having another teacher in the room, like a shoulder buddy to make suggestions! It's nice that it's all in one place, that's "classroom safe" and it helps to also access the other resources that are available within the Magic School AI platform. Definitely is a time-saver, and suggests some different strategies and ideas I would have had to spend hours searching for before. I'd like to use her for some more ideas for expanding my learning centers. Limitations are that it can be a little "dry" and you definitely need to add your personality into some of the lesson ideas. Also, I'd be concerned about the validity of her info, so fact-checking would be a must.

I will be using Raina now more to help me come up with more challenging activities for my high flyers and also to differentiate for my students that have other needs to reteach some of my lessons. I have some kiddos that are having behavioral issues so I think she might be helpful coming up with some strategies to help them as well.

I feel strongly that she can help me save time by reducing my time that I normally spend searching for material ideas, changing up my lessons to make them more engaging by giving me a cumulative snapshot when I'm looking for something specific and communicating by helping me "polish" those emails and announcements to parents.

Raina and I are becoming friends. lol I have used her a couple times last week.

I used the report card comment section this past weekend. Oh boy. LOVE it. It helped me write a positive thing for the parents of a student that is always moving, talking, hopping around the room and rarely finishes his work on time. Struggles with reading as well. This made my life so much easier and less stressful as to what to say. lol you can only say so many ways your child is hyper and cant sit still and never finished his work.

As everyone has said AI will make teachers lesson planning and letter writing easier. I am hoping to use it more after I spend time this summer to get to know it better. But, for now I feel it is helpful in lots of ways, from helping me sound professional in letters as well as in report cards. I also can use it to help with lesson plans and how to reach all students.

Because I am still in stage 1 of learning about AI I am not sure what a negative thing about it is yet. Maybe it will become too easy to put in your questions or lesson It takes away the human or caring ability to teach. (I so should of put that sentence in to the chat to help me. lol) It takes away the personal touch of lesson planning.
