- The first day of internship at new workplace, I was assigned at Front Office. I was introduced and get acquainted with some of the staffs of Front Office (FO) department, Sales department and Human Resources (HR) department. - The FO staff (Anisa) told me a little about the resort since the resort provide meals to every staffs form breakfast, lunch and dinner at the kitchen and told be a little bit about the staffs and the working environment here at the Tanjung Demong Beach Resort.

- I was taught by Anisa on how to talk with customers, what to do when customers check-in and check-out, how to talk with the customers on the phone and basically teach me how to become a receptionist. On the first day, i'm just watching on how they work.

When th group check in, there will be a different form for a group to check in and write their names, IC number, phone number, vehicle plat number and a signature, this is because we need to make sure they got the right room key.

- I went to the housekeeping department for one day to help them because of the bed to bed situation.  I helped while learning from the staffs how to make beds, fold towels to look neat, tidy and clean the table area, wash the cups that used by guests, wipe the table, sweep the room floor, sweep the hallway and stairs, and keep the room tidy and clean before locking the room and inform the FO that the room is already VC (Vacant Clean) indicates the room can already be given or sold to customers.

- I went to the F&B department to help the staff there because there was one group and one wedding and they was understaffs to manage two events at once.  I help in the wedding part.  I learned from the staff, Kak Norli on how to serve and serve food to the bride, groom and family, I also helped by throwing leftover food in the trash while other staff picked up dirty plates on the table to give a way to other guests to eat and given it to me,  and add the side dishes that are lacking in the tray.  I also helped them to sweep the floor after the ceremony and help staffs who needed my help.
