l Secondly, show students the basic version without attributive clauses

l Then model how to build a complex sentences from basic sentences by adding attributive clauses.

l Compare and contrast the English and Chinese sentences
similarity: the second sentence become the attribute of the first sentence.
difference: In English the clause is still a sentence while in Chinese it becomes a descriptive phrase and their positions in the more complex sentences are different.
l Provide guided practice and independent practice
After modeling how to build a sentence using an attributive clause, we will guide students to practice with us by making sentences about different continents.
And then ask students to work in groups and use attributive clause to describe the seven continent.
