In 2018, in the last year of middle school, I reached over 70kg. For a girl living in a nation where the average weight for females at the time was around 50kg, I was ashamed.

Alike other overweight teenagers, I found multiple ways to abuse my body by starving, fasting, drinking "lose weight" labeled drugs with unknown origins. Eventually, not only did I not lose a SINGLE weight, but the feelings of disappointment and disgrace also dominated my mental state.

Until I registered for a free PT package trial at PT4BEAUTY. I first got to test my BMI, an index that calculates body fat based on weight and height (basically shows how "healthy" your body is).
Having a personal trainer saved me, and here is how

All I work on is my body, with the help of a personal trainer from PT4BEAUTY.

She (my personal trainer) and I agree to follow these 3 rules:

(1) no-dieting: since I was still in the last few years of puberty. We did agree on cutting down the portion, but not forbidding any types of food. The body needs nutrients, which are what food is there to offer. It is scientifically demonstrated that the human body requires a variety of different substances to be loaded into per day. Therefore, no food is entirely "good" or entirely "bad".

So long as you eat in moderation, you can consume whatever you want while working out.

(2) exercise to be healthy, rather than to be fit: It is obvious that obesity causes multiple medical issues. In young people (me), the risk of heart disease from being overweight is lower, but joint diseases are much higher - a major problem that I did not know I had. Overburdening the joints—particularly the knee joint—leaves them under excessive pressure, reduces their flexibility, and has a significant long-term effect.

The primary objective of working out is to relieve these stresses and restore the joints' functional systems. All in all, we exercise to be healthier.

(3) if being overweight is a lock, discipline is the key: People can very easily gain back their original weight if they stop exercising consistently. Fitness trainers aren't the answer to forming a workout routine, but they can certainly be your helpers to solve that problem. In addition to giving exercises, their role is to motivate and supervise the client throughout the entire training process. That control is their guide to self-discipline.

Exercise must become a daily habit, instead of a temporary job to have a beautiful body.

This photo was taken in May 2020, a year and a half after accompanying with my PT, I was around 55kg at this time. My BMI index, at the moment of this picture, was 21.9kg/m2 - being considered a healthy weight.

The LONG-TERM benefits

I stopped using this coach service over 1 year due to relocation. However, I never regret having decided to choose this PT package. One word cannot express my gratitude to my personal trainer for all that she has done to help me transform.

The most valuable thing about having PT was that I learned about my own body. From personal experience, it can be very challenging for a beginner to understand which part of the body needs to be worked on or how to use the gym equipment. Having someone to guide me was really necessary at that time. I can learn how to move properly, comprehend the muscle groups, and "feel" correctly how they respond to exercise when I practice with my personal trainer. Since then, I've been able to schedule my own workouts and decide which exercises to do even without the PT.

In addition, after training with a personal trainer, I have developed an exercise routine. As mentioned before, maintaining exercise is one of the essential factors for a healthy body. Getting in the habit of exercising is a great way to stay healthy in the long run. I still go to the gym at least 3 times a week, even if there is a workout that can only last 1 hour due to a busy schedule.

The last thing I want to emphasize is that having a personal trainer is a source of mental support for growing body-positivity thoughts. When you are overweight or obese, it is difficult for outsiders to say encouraging or positive words. I remember most of the comments I received from people around me when I was overweight were complaints about me being fat, and that my body "looked sick" (in a bad way). However, my fitness coach always offers words of encouragement during all the training sessions. I have never received a review or disparagement of my looks from her. Those words of encouragement help me a lot in regaining confidence in myself.

I was very pleased with the PT package I chose. Now is the time for you to use this service and experience the same good things as me!
