A small population of Atlantic salmon used to live in the Ontario stream.

Old settlers over fishing the salmon and poor water conditions lead to the local extinction of Atlantic salmon.

The fish start out as eggs, then when they hatch they are a alvin and get nutrients from a yolk sac, once they become a fry they can find their own food. The next stage is a parr, and their "teenage" stage is a parr. They then swim up stream to lay their eggs in a redd. They then die.

When they migrate they migrate upstream.
