Some of his famous philosophies are that a government should respect the peoples rights and that if society doesn’t like a king they should be able to take his position away. He also explained some rigorous approaches to help discover truths. He influenced the US government in a lot of ways. One of them is mentioned in one of his passages that if a king loses the consent of the governed the society may remove him. I think this relates to our elections and how if we don't like a leader we can change every 4 years. He also suggested freedom for religion.
