Lying in state is when the coffin is placed to that family, officials and public can see it before the funeral. Prince Phillip didn't want to lie in state, but Elizabeth will. 

Prince Charles will now be king, since he’s Elizabeth's oldest child. The next king in line will be prince william.

there were some good parts, like when the crowd threw flowers at the cars and it landed in the windows,but exept from that, everything was boring.
we had some good jokes while watching it, which was highly entertaining. 
The car itself was pretty cool as well, i suppose.
But all in all, it was an important event for many people, and it was intresting to watch and learn about british royal culture.
God save the queen
