• Liz had a student work out a Pythagorean problem on the board that required her to find the hypotenuse.
• Liz then directed students to her Frog page where they looked at Unit 6 and completed an online practice worksheet.
• Students then participated in a Jeopardy style game on the Pythagorean Theorem.  They used this multi-player version of the Jeopardy game.

• Students used information from the text to support their opinion as well as answer DBQ-style questions about the text.
• Students are seated in groups and can collaborate quietly but turn in their own sheet when finished.

• Students created their own Quizlets then switched with a partner and did review games with each others' Quizlets.
• They then played Quizlet Live as a class.

• Students that had completed IXL received small group instruction.
• As students completed their IXL lessons, Liz pulled out pairs/small groups of students and explained the next concept.
• Liz then directed her students to her Frog page to work on games for each objective from their upcoming unit.
• Liz often uses stations in her classroom that utilize a variety of tech tools.  She still used technology even though her students were in testing all morning.
