Before lessons start, we need to share the expected Learning Disposition we aim the children to display during the activity.

We display the Learning Disposition around in our classroom. With the constant exposure, children see it daily and internalize it, and subsequently will display it whenever there is an opportunity.

We can nurture learning disposition by role-modelling to children on how to use appropriate words and act on them accordingly.

For one example, to display sense or wonder and curiousity, we ask questions such as "I wonder what will happen if I..."

We can also use words/phrases i.e. to display perseverance, we can say, "Let's try it again I'm sure you can do it this time!"

Educator: "Let's reflect on what your group did yesterday about the leaves artwork, what happened when you pounded the leaves? I saw you were all excited about your work and discovery. Let's share with each other what you discovered, shall we?

Perseverance

Educator: "I know that some of you found it difficult to create the 3D Dinosaur habitat, but I believed that when we persevere and we try it again and again, no matter how slow we will take we can get it done. We will be patient and persevere to succeed. Come, try it again."
