Instead of saying something like: Litzy broke Marcela's heart when she didn't greet her on her way to the bathroom. You want to say: Litzy's lack of acknowledgment for Marcela suggests that gastrointestinal systems (topic) are the true masters of human beings, forcing us to exchange our principles and values for a porcelain bowl (theme). That way, instead of talking about people's actions, you are talking about ideas. And when you talk about ideas, you is honoring your brain's highest function.
