Content: Matilda is a smart little girl that lives in a wealthy family who have supper infront of the tivi everyday. Since young, she have been left alone at home when her father goes to work, her mother goes play bingo, and her brother goes to school. She use to read the magazines and learn words by herself. Then she found out about the library and went there everyday. The librarian was amazed by the little girl, everyday she would see her reading letters books on a couch (which is taller then her) in the library. Soon, she told Matilda about borrowing books. So from that day, instead of going to the library, Matilda bring books home and drink hot chocolate and read it in her room. Her family were terrible, using her intelligent, she thought of a scheme. Her friend have a parrot that can say 'hello!', Matilda borrowed the parrot and put him into the chimmey. That night, when they were having supper, they heard the parrot and thought it was a robber. They were ready for a fight but no one was there. Next day, she returned the parrot to her friend. As told, her family was wealthy. One day, her father came home in a cheerful mood. He told her brother about how he sold good deals that day. Her brother was supposed to add it up on a paper but Matilda told them the answer to the addition. Her mother walked in and ask what happened. Her father replied: "Your daughter here is a cheater! She looked into my calculation paper!" (Even though Matilda was sitting on another chair).
