1. A time were I experienced active learning is when I first played baseball in gym. I had not played baseball before then so I did not know how to properly hold the bat. A couple of guys that played baseball for our school showed me how to properly hold the bat to hit a guaranteed home run. By them showing me physically, it helped me learn how to properly play baseball.
2. I have seen Active learning being done well when it comes to projects in school. Having the teacher show students step by step instead of assigning instructions and going usually leads the class to complete the assignment on time and with a 100 percent accuracy.

Constructive

1. I used constructive learning after doing a lab experiment over a volcano. The teacher had specifically laid out instructions that we were supposed to do step by step, but I skipped some as I had built a volcano before. This caused my volcano to not turn out like my classmates and for me to receive a bad grade. After looking over what I did and the instructions, me choosing to do my own method resulted in a poorly built volcano.
2. An instance where Constructive learning has prospered is when teachers would give a test to the students and then go over what they missed and show them how to work the problems. This method helped not only me, but other students as well. Having the mistakes you missed worked out only elevates the students so that when we were given another chance to take the test, everyone improved.

Cooperative

1. Cooperative learning especially takes place when working in groups. All throughout school I was assigned to work in groups to complete tasks. By being assigned tasks as a group, I was able to develop relationships and build off others strengths and weaknesses.
2. An instance where I noticed Cooperative learning was used is in my IDT class where we have Flip grids that we have to answer. Other students would respond and give their feedbacks to the topic. The use of this has helped me get to know my classmates and also their thoughts on certain topics.

1. My experience with Authentic learning came from a Teen living class I had in the 8th grade. The instructor randomly gave us jobs and families. We then had to use the income we made yearly and provide for our families. We were given situations like one student has a daughter that does ballet, but also has to pay for rent and babysitting. By the instructor doing this activity, we learned how the real world works when it comes to providing for yourself and family. Everything costs money from school clothes to the babysitting service used afterschool.
2. From this experience, I now am able to relate learning to real life situations. This method of learning is most effective for me as it puts problem solving into a perspective I can easily understand.

Intentional

1. For Intentional learning, I had just entered the fifth grade and became introduced to more math subjects. math is not my strongest subject and I found myself struggling to the point where I thought I was going to fail the fifth grade because of it. After personally working with the teacher, I found out that the reason I could not get math down properly was because I was getting discouraged. I would look at a problem and automatically assume that I could not do it instead of breaking it down step by step. To help break this, the teacher would schedule time away from whatever she was teaching and make a group for students who needed extra help with their math.
2. A time where Intentional learning did not work is when working in the group one or two students absolutely could not grasp math. The teacher struggled with encouraging the students as they did not care to learn math. After running some tests, it came out that one of the students had an impairment when it came to math. Had the teacher known that one of the students suffered from a math impairment, she would have not had to make adjustments toward her teaching methods that proved to interfere with others in the groups learning.
