Mc Donalds and the obesity

A few years ago Mc Donalds started having some problems because people said that the brand encouraged obesity in general, but particullary in children. The PR department noticed this situation and before it gets worse, they did some changes to improve their image. First they started offering healthier options in the menu and encouaraged people to take them, nowadays they have fruit, salads and healthy breakfast optins. As if this wasn’t enough they started organizing, once a year a marathon to raise awareness about obesity and the importance of physical activity

Nestlé

In 2010 Greenpeace created an advertising campaign against one of Nestlé's most famous products, KitKat, regarding the use of palm oil, which was accused of the destruction of forests and the death of the orangutans who live there.

After this, the Nestlé Facebook page was filled with comments repudiating the product.
The company didn´t respond, deleted most of the comments, and finally agreed to remove palm oil from the product.

Samsung Galaxy note 7

In 2016 Samsung lauched the phone Galaxy Note 7, whose battery could explode when being overcharge.
There were hundreds of people who suffered this problem. Even airlines didn't allow the use of the phone on their planes.
This crisis meant a huge lost for the company and their reputation. Their sales went down very fast and created a feeling of distrust among the customers.
They solved the problem by changing the phone of everyone who had bought it.

Barbie

From the start criticisms were often cantered around concerns that children consider Barbie a role model and will attempt to emulate her. The most common criticism is that she promotes an unrealistic idea of body image for a young woman, leading to a risk that girls who attempt to emulate her will become anorexic.
Mattel said that the waist of the Barbie doll was made small because the waistbands of her clothes, along with their seams, snaps, and zippers, added bulk to her figure. In 1997, Barbie's body mould was redesigned and given a wider waist, with Mattel saying that this would make the doll better suited to contemporary fashion designs.

Complaints also point to a lack of diversity in the line. Mattel responded to these criticisms. Starting in 1980, it produced Hispanic dolls, and later came models from across the globe. "Colored Francie" made her debut in 1967, and she is sometimes described as the first African American Barbie doll.

Well this was a year ago i think, when people started to share videos or photos of tuna cans, that when you wash it apparently appears some SHEEP WOOL or others thought that was CLOTHES FIBERS. Everybody was freaking out and were making those proves viral.

What did the industry do?
Bahía shared on facebook a video explaining why tuna has that texture after washing it and everything calmed down, but i think there are people that still believe that wool are in tuna cans, and mistrust them
