August "Auggie" Pullman : Something went wrong while his born because his mom and dad had the sa. He had 27 surgeries since then . His face is a little different from other people. He didn't go to school until 5th grade. Her mother homeschooled him. He is very smart,funny,shy and friendly.

Isabel Pullman(Auggie's mom): She always wanted to be an art teacher but she gave up her dreams for Auggie. She is a strong woman. She devoted herself to Auggie. She is very optimistic.

Nate Pullman(Auggie's father): He is a cool dad . He is like a friend to his children. He is really enjoyable and funny.

Olivia "Via" Pullman (Auggie's sister): She is introverted and shy. She always stands up for herself. Sometimes not getting attention from her parents made her sad but she was aware of their situation so she acted so patiently.

Jack Will: At the beginning he treated Auggie nice because his mother wanted to but then he understood how cool is Auggie and they became best friends.He is funny and friendly.

Julian Albans: He is rude and selfish.

Charlotte Cody:She is very self conscious.She talks a lot and she always talks about herself.

Summer: Summer is so sweet and nice.She helped Auggie when Jack disappointed him.

We see a theme in every events.

Bullying -> Julian behaves Auggie horrible and he says to  him "freaking face".

Resolution (determined) -> Auggie holds onto life although he had so many surgeries. His mother never gives up. His mother trains him at home.

Understanding -> Via is patience for Auggie and she isn't jealous of him.

Hope -> Auggie wants to make some friends at school. Her mother always hopes that he can be a normal child.

August Pullman: He is the main character.He has a low self esteem because of his apperance. So he wears an astronout helmet. He is very smart and funny.
Apperance is not important in our life. Auggie wasn't aware of that, as he got closer with his friends he learned it. He shows us that you don't have to have a pretty face to socialaze, you just need a pretty heart.
Olivia: Auggie's sister. She loved her grandmother and her friend Miranda, but her grandmother died and Miranda has changed. She met Justin, her boyfriend, when she was lonely.She played in a theatre.
For us, Olivia is the most important characters. She was feeling left out but she didn't show her feelings. Because she knew that her put her brother needed more attention than her and she didn't want to put her parents in diffuculty.
Jack Will: Auggie's first friend in school. At first he acted like a friend but than he really liked Auggie and became a real friend. He fought for Auggie.
What we learned from is we should be devoted to our friends.
Miranda: She thought us that, you don't have to be
popular to be happy. You can find happiness in your friends.

~ He was wearing helmet cause of his apperience . People were looking at again and again when they saw him. They thought he is freak and they excluded him. After , they know him for a long time , they understood he has a wounded but full of beauties heart . His mother told him that , he was in the heart of his beauty , not apperience . He proved the truth of his mother's words and won a medal .
3- SACRIFICE
~ Auggie had a defermity because his mother and farther had same genetics Auggie's problem effected his family . For example , his mother couldn't complete her thesis . She started to teach him at home . She left her life and put Auggie in the center of her life .
Auggie has an ill so all family forgot Via , their daughter , but that wasn't problem . She was aware that events is hard too so she didn't want to be a load and she did all works alone . Auggie always had problems , her mother helped him but Via was always alone .This showed her sacrifice

First, we mustn’t judge the people according to their appearance. Because we can’t choose our own appearance.

In the movie on of the important things is prejudice and the other one is courage. For example Auggie was really ashamed and he was wearing an astronaut helmet. But then he showed us a kind of courage sample. Although Julian’s teases he didn’t give up. On the other side on the first school day he was offended very much. And again, he didn’t give up. He thought that he can give up but by Via’s and his family’s help he nailed it. Also Via didn’t give up despite the difficulties of life by her grandma.

But the main idea was “ Everybody may have appearancel problems though, if we want to see theirselves, their sincerity and their favour all we have to do is looking.” we think.

Other idea is “whatever happens in life, friendships have to go on. “ For example Miranda made a harm to Via by leaving her. But then she recognized it she was really regretted. Other example is Jack’s words about Auggie.

It was a disappointing moment for Auggie, fell to hopeless and he felt like a freak because of Jack’s words. But then he forgave him because he represents the humble in the movie decided to forgive him.

In the end of the movie we saw that mind and friendship isn’t about the appearance.

1)Selfish parents' kids become selfish. For example Julian's mother told to the manager that let's kick out the boy from school.

2)Miranda used Olivia's struggle to become cool but Olivia was hiding it. We must be who we are.

3)August's mother devoted to his son. She finished her graduation thesis after many years. Because she took care about his son.

4)Being prejudiced is harmful for kids. Especially being rude about physical appearances can destroy confidence. August was wearing astronaut helmet first day in school. Because people were frightened when they saw August.
