Tennis Court Oath and Creation of the National Assembly (1789)

Representatives from the non-cleargy and non-nobles of France, the 3rd estate took an oath to not seperate until a constitution was established for France then created the National Assembly.

Storming of the Bastille (1789)

The National Assembly feared that King Louis XVI would arrest them. They stormed an old fortress that had been used as a state prison.

The Abolition of Feudalism (1789)

A violent peasant revolt worried the National Assembly. Instead of acknowledging the violence they tried to ease them, liberal nobles began to represent their old feudal privilege. A few hours later, the assembly rid feudalism.

Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen (1789)
