The system offers high-definition 3D visualization and wristed instruments, which facilitate precise dissections in procedures such as lobectomy and segmentectomy (Chen et al., 2023). Latest research indicates that RATS delivers perioperative outcomes that are equally comparable to or superior to those of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), with some analyses indicating lower conversion rates and reduced hospital stays (Kawaguchi et al., 2023; Kent &amp; Backhus, 2022). RATS often lead to improved lymph node retrieval, thereby increasing the accuracy of cancer staging (Chen et al., 2023).</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>More precise movement</strong>: Robotic arms move like a human wrist, but they are more flexible and shake less (Kent &amp; Backhus, 2022).</p><p><strong>Less pain and faster recovery</strong>: Patients typically experience less pain, spend less time in the hospital, and recover more quickly than they would after open surgery (Kent &amp; Backhus, 2022).</p><p><strong>Less likely to require open surgery</strong>: When using the robot, surgeons may be less likely to switch to open surgery&nbsp;(Kent &amp; Backhus, 2022).</p><p><strong>Some analyses observe lower conversion rates and shorter lengths of stay:</strong>The<strong> </strong>meta-analyses and prospective studies show similar rates of complications; however, RATS has been linked to shorter stays and fewer conversions to thoracotomy in several series (Kawaguchi et al., 2023).</p><p><strong>It improves dexterity and reduces surgeon fatigue</strong>: Studies have shown that moderate&nbsp;training can lead to proficiency (Oh et al., 2023).</p><p><strong>Cost-effectiveness:</strong> In high-volume centers, cost-effectiveness is achieved by minimizing operating times and maintaining low conversion rates (Swanson et al., 2022).</p>]]></description>

The volume of surgeries and the team's experience impact their efficiency (Oh et al., 2023).</p><p><strong>Oncological similarities in relation to superiorit</strong>y: The&nbsp;long-term survival and disease-free survival rates for early-stage NSCLC are comparable for RATS and VATS, both before and after surgery (Chen et al., 2023).</p><p><strong>No sense of touch</strong>: Surgeons can't feel the tissue directly; they can only see it (Kent &amp; Backhus, 2022).</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I believe the da Vinci system provides safe and easy surgical options, with excellent performance before, during, and after surgery, and cancer outcomes that are comparable to those of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS). This technique is advantageous for intricate mediastinal dissections or anatomical segmentectomies. Experience and cost control have a significant effect on its intrinsic value. In hospitals with fewer patients, high-quality VATS is a cost-effective standard (Chen et al., 2023; Oh et al., 2023). I also believe that the Da Vinci system has helped patients experience less pain after surgery, stay in the hospital for shorter periods, and heal more quickly than those who underwent VATS (Kent &amp; Backhus, 2022).</p><p>But there are still some issues with the system in question. For instance, it is primarily accessible to large hospitals that perform a high volume of surgeries due to its high expense, and it is not cost-effective for smaller hospitals.</p>]]></description>
