Simply showing students a worked problem is not as effective as it used to be, but with new strategies, students can increase their learning. Using blended learning and tools that help guide them step by step, while also giving them the opportunity to go back and review the problem can help them retain their learning. Students should alternate between viewing problems worked and practicing the skill.
