My Dad grew up in Miami, Florida and lived in a very ghetto part of the city. His story is literally from rag to riches. My father had a lot of talent but was frequently denied by his mother because they had no money. He then met my Uncle David, Uncle David was the son of the very first black TV star Flip Wilson. Because of that, my Dad got to live his dream and that is how he met my mom. My mom also grew up in a impoverished area in the Philippines called Nueva Ecija. She wanted to get out so she worked hard to move to Manila. She became an accountant and was so successful she had her own company. When she met my dad, she sold off her company and came to America to marry him. Ever since then, I have been working and practicing diligently to achieve my dream. My parents aren't against me pursuing it, but they ask that I receive my education first. My father had a very difficult time in the industry because of the lack of opportunities in the industry for black people. The only way he was able to get through was because he also knew how to write, produce, and direct. So, I promised I would graduate college before I try to become an actress unlike most people in the industry. I also want to be a Criminal Lawyer so that I can help bring fair justice to everyone who does wrong. But, I am not a fan of vegetables AT ALL! I mean, how could you eat such strange looking stuff. After one look at vegetables, I decided to maintain my figure by exercising. My favorite dish is rice, tilapia, and bagoong. I met Jordyn when I first moved into Lancaster. She was my neighbor right behind me so I could honestly talk to her all the time. She was 7 at the time and I was 8 so we quickly grew interest in each other and have grown to become great friends. We've had many sleepovers and even traveled to Puerto Rico together for a week last summer.   I met Laila the beginning of Seventh Grade. WE had easily became great friends since we had a lot of classes together. Although we have only been friends for a short amount of time, we have been through so much together that grew into deeper relationship.
