This quote simply shows us that our internet privacy will always be at risk, as that is the way all big companies handle it.  That is, all the advertising they are doing is used with our personal data.  No matter how many policies they come up with and make us believe that our information is safe, as the software will track what you are looking for in their search engines and use that information for their benefit.

Social media businesses understand the importance of dopamine, which is released as a result of obtaining "likes" and continuous scrolling, they have developed very intelligent algorithms that feed us content that meets our requirements. Every action we take, such as clicking, scrolling, liking, and commenting, is recorded in order for the algorithm to have a better knowledge of who we are and what we like.
