The best day of my life was when I traveled to Los Angeles with my parents to visit Disneyland. Since I was little, I always dreamed of visiting the park and experiencing the magic of the characters, rides, and attractions.

From the moment we landed in Los Angeles, excitement was in the air. The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, and the city welcomed us with its vibrant energy. But the best was yet to come: the day we went to Disneyland.

When I arrived at the park, I was speechless. Seeing the iconic Disney castle in front of me was an unforgettable moment. Together with my parents, we walked around every corner of the park, enjoyed the roller coasters, took photos with the characters, and watched the amazing Disney parade. One of the most special moments was when we went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, one of my favorites.

As night fell, we enjoyed the fireworks show over the castle. It was a magical moment, full of lights and music, that made me feel like I was in a real fairy tale. I looked at my parents and knew that this day would be engraved in my heart forever.

This trip was not only special because I fulfilled a dream, but because I lived it with the people I love the most. It was a day of pure happiness, laughter and unforgettable memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

After some time, we decided to go to the store. Since there weren’t many cars where we lived, my mom allowed me to go. Everything was fine until my cousins took a steep downhill street and rode down like experts. Meanwhile, I was terrified. But despite my fear, I decided to go for it.

Back then, the road was still made of dirt and was full of rocks. As I was reaching the finish, I lost control and fell hard on the ground. I scraped my face and most of my body. I was completely covered in dirt and couldn’t move my arm.

Limping, I went back to my mom, and instead of comforting me, she scolded me and made me take a cold shower. But as I was showering, I thought it had been really fun.

My best day of my life was the year before on my birthday.

That day I woke up very happy. My mom made me a very delicious cake for breakfast. I shared the cake with my sisters and cousins.

In the afternoon I went out with my friends, we went to Baños. We walked around different places. We ate ice cream. We took lots of funny photos. At the end of our walk they gave me a stuffed animal and chocolates.

At night my family had prepared a surprise party for me. My uncles gave me lots of gifts. There was lots of food, desserts and drinks. The music was good. We all had a great time. And I didn't want that day to end because it was the best day of my life.

When I was 14 years old, I traveled to a city that I did not know. I went alone because I wanted to see new places. But it was a big mistake.

First, I got lost. The streets were different, and I did not know where to go. I had a little money, but it was not enough for a hotel or a taxi. I was very hungry and tired.

Then, my phone battery died. I could not use Google Maps or call anyone. I walked for a long time, looking for a place to charge my phone. Finally, I found a small café. I asked the owner if I could charge my phone, and he said yes. I felt a little better.

When my phone turned on, I called my dad. I told him everything. He was surprised and a little angry, but he said he would come. I waited for many hours in the café. It was the longest day of my life.

Finally, my dad arrived. He helped me, and we went home. I learned an important lesson: never travel alone to a city I don’t know if I don’t have enough money!

When we finished exploring, we walked back, but we took the wrong path and got lost. The road was muddy, and many friends fell and got dirty. We were tired and a little scared.

While walking, we found an abandoned house. It was old, and we learned it was a candy factory before. It was interesting but also a little scary.

After a long walk, we finally found the right way. We were happy and laughed. It was a trip I will never forget!

That morning, we woke up very early. My son was so excited that he put on his new school uniform by himself. I helped him with his backpack, which looked very big on his small body. We took many photos at home because his mother wanted to remember every moment.

When we arrived at the school, my son held my hand tightly. He was a little nervous but also brave. His teacher was very kind and welcomed us with a big smile. I watched as my son found his seat in the classroom and made his first friend right away.

Before leaving, he gave me a big hug and said, "Bye, daddy!" I felt tears in my eyes, but they were happy tears. Even though I'm still a student myself, seeing my son start his own education journey was amazing. This day showed me how wonderful it is to be a father and watch your child grow up.

I had the opportunity to speak with Berenice Guayasamín, daughter of the renowned Ecuadorian painter Oswaldo Guayasamín and currently president of the Guayasamín Foundation. We headed to Quito with a group of colleagues several months ago with the intention of getting to know and visiting various places and they recommended that we go to the Oswaldo Guayasamin House Museum and when we arrived they welcomed us and gave us the respective tour, everything was fine but there was a moment where the administrative staff behaved a little strangely, a problem arose and when there was this problem, Bereneci arrived and we explained what happened and she gave us free admission to remedy the problem but we didn't care. We were so happy and in the end we returned home.
