For the last few years, I've been participating in diferents e-twinning projects, with the purpose of collaboration with more teachers, to learn more about education, find new ways to motivate my students.
And the true is that working and comunicating with so many people, made me discover new tools, new thoughts about how to reach my students needs.
The fact is that dispite the distance, we are very close and similar towards our purposes.

One of the most important elements of eTwinning is collaboration among teachers, students, schools, parents, and local authorities. In eTwinning teachers work together and organize activities for their students. All have an active role, interact, investigate, make decisions, respect each other, and learn 21st century skills. eTwinning projects involve the contribution of each member of the team.
I love the concept of life-long learning and always try to come up with new ways/tools to broaden my students' horizons and mine. I discovered eTwinning only recently and my goal is to find new gateways of communication and discover the beauty and fun in learning a language and new skills, as well as the beauty in travelling and getting to know new cultures.

I've been in etwinning for about 4 years. Since then I have learned from the various courses I have taken and from the projects I have participated in. I still consider myself a beginner because I still have a long way to go in organizing and promoting projects.

I started my participation in the eTwinning community four years ago. This participation has proved to be excellent as despite already having a very long career in education, I have learnt a lot. The sharing and collaborative work has been intense and fruitful. I went from an elementary dimension to a much higher level of reflection about working with colleagues and working with students.
This reflection has forced me to rethink my teaching practice and change it in some aspects.
I am more concerned with adapting tasks so that it is possible for all students to participate.
I would like to continue to develop collaborative work with colleagues in Europe and share experiences in order to improve my practice.

I discovered the eTwinning community due to confinement because of COVID/SARS19. In March 2020, we stayed at home and I decided that I couldn't leave the kindergarten children and their parents alone. The first option was to create a Facebook page, private, and work daily with children and parents.
I spent some time getting to know the new virtual realities and signed up for a MOOC on eTwinning. Since then I have collaborated on some projects, shared ideas, learned different methodologies for approaching a subject and it is with great joy that I continue to develop eTwinning projects, involving families, other colleagues from different groups, operational assistants, and external entities, parish council, and associations, among others.
And I improved a lot my English, which was already well kept since I finished high school in 1978. In my kindergarten teacher course, which I completed in 1981, English was never used. When I took a course of higher studies specializing in new information and communication technologies in 1995, the use of texts in English was not current practice. Only during my master's degree, completed in 2002, did I have the opportunity to read many texts in English and translate these texts.
Speaking English now in eTwinning in partner meetings, which are always very pleasant, forced me to improve it, but it's still not easy.
Working with other colleagues from other countries has been very gratifying both for me and for the children and families who adhere to the projects with great commitment and actively collaborate in the development of tasks that are assigned to them. They are proud and happy to know new cultures and to show ours. Despite being here for a very short time, I can clearly say that Children have benefited immensely from this learning community, which is effectively a community of practice. I want to continue to develop projects on eTwinng.

I think that eTwinning is a unique community that offers many opportunities for the professional development of teachers but is also a great tool for transforming education in a modern and innovative way.

I've been in eTwinning since 2017. I worked on several projects with several European partners having awarded projects. I think that approaching our classes from etwinning projects is a great value for our students as we move away from traditional teaching and allow our students to move forward and always be motivated to learn. Here we realize that despite the distance that separates us from European partners, we are closer than ever and the use of these new tools allows our students to be much more interested and to learn without realizing it. If I have to be honest, I have to say that be part of etwinning has been a positive and incredible revolution for me, and my school. Thanks to etwinning, I approached new learning and teaching ways; now, ICT tools or PBL take part of my routine as a teacher. On the other hand, I feel that I take part of a big community where everybody is able to share and help each other something that can be considered very rewarding. Finally the impact on my school has been very positive; we have been able to lauch Erasmus+ projects and improve the use of ICT among teachers.

I've participated in Etwinning projects for many years now. It has brought me new teaching methods and a new vision of teaching.
Etwinning is for example a good way to discover new digital applications to use in class. Collaborative tools can be very efficient and helped a lot during the Covid crisis, especially on my island( Reunion Isl, France)

I am an English language teacher in a vocational school for healthcare careers. I have discovered eTwinning a few years ago and started participating in small scale projects at first. Since then, I have seen wonderful opportunities eTwinning projects provide for students, such as meeting their peers from other countries, communicating in English, showing their creativity and learning about different topics at the same time. In spite I've been teaching for many years, thanks to eTwinning I have tried to use new tools and way of teaching. All the Erasmus+ projects my school was involved in were also in the platform, so that I have had the great opportunity to work and collaborate with so many European teachers and to involve so many students too. We used ICT creatively, improving our English and making new friends. My only concern is that some colleagues at my school have not yet realized its importance. I have worked really hard during the last four years and for one of these projects I received a Quality Label, and my students got it too. I was so happy and proud of them! I discovered eTwinning by chance in the Summer of 2016. I was soon enthusiastic about the opportunities that the community could offer. The experience with the etwinning community has certainly contributed to implementing my digital and relational skills. The comparison with the partners, within the projects, has always been profitable and enriching, thanks to the possibility of working on a flexible platform but with precise rules of Netiquette. This was eTwinning for me in 2015 when i had answered the same question in my very 1st MOOC, the 1st one i had ever attended, organized by the Spanish NSO. It was my first year in the community. 7 years after i feel that eTwinning is a way of living, not only professionally with my students. It upgrades our social network in a very meaningful way-so many friends and partners and so efficient support and understanding, having inspiration and feedback for your work even though we are in a distance- and keeps the spirits up and the door open for new ideas and learning. There is a whole world beyond that door so i wonder why some of us stay just in the entrance...Beyond all these, the platform and the tools that offers made true my dream of joined online classrooms synchronously. I have the honor to be eTwinning ambassador since May 2020 and through this role i have the opportunity to offer help to new eTwinners and share my enthusiasm with a "larger" audience. I have never been in an Erasmus mobility with my students and i would like to try this in the following years (Athanasia, Greece)

I have been an eTwinning member since 2012. I have collaborated with beautiful people, done wonderful projects. I see a change lately. People -as in most things nowadays- focus on appearances and a quest for awards ( me included). Once it was simpler and more fun! When I started we could have two hours in our curriculum dedicated to eTwinning activities! Now you have "steal" time to complete tasks and you never feel right about it. I wonder why this has happened...

Etwinning has always been a sort of window on the European countries and a kind of ocean where you can find new stimulating ideas, talented teachers and challenging projects to propose as well as to accept!

I joined the e-Twinning community last year and this has been quite an interesting journey ever since. I started with signing up for the MOOC and then moved on to being part of two international projects. It has been an excellent experience both for me and my students. Personally, I learned new teaching practices, met lots of interesting teachers and developed a lot of IT skills. For my students, it has been amazing to learn new things , new colleagues from different countries and new cultures as well. However, it is sometimes a bit difficult to adapt the new technologies and these new practices to my students' needs and the school curriculum, as I work in a vocational school. Nevertheless, this is a long journey and we're just starting. I really hope to learn more and to develop new teaching skills so that I can share with my fellow colleagues.

I joined eTwinning community in 2015. I found it so interesting that when I had the chance I asked an ambassador to come to my school and present it to my colleagues.
Nowadays there are already some eTwinners in my school and already a National Quality Label.
I signed a MOOc, worked in some projects, and now I am in two international projects. I have had so many good experiences concerning teaching practices, web2 tools, and IT skills.
As far as my students are concerned it has been a great experience getting to know different children from different countries, different cultures and still so much alike them!
Still I feel so much need to improve. I really hope to learn more and be able share and help my colleagues so we can learn more from eTwinning.

I joined the eTwinning community seven years ago in 2015. Since then I have attended several professional development courses and two years ago I decided to join a project proposed by a french and a polish school in which the communication language was german (the subject I teach in the lower secondary school where I work). My students were enthusiastic about it: they had the possibility to learn how to work with a lot of new digital tools and to use the foreign language in a real context in which they needed and wanted to communicate with their peers.
I learnt a lot from the two colleagues from France and Poland and this year I've created a project of my own which is still running with students of a german school. I have also joined a project with another german school in Berlin and it was great for my students to discover the city and its interesting history, but also to show their own town with its traditions to the german teens.
I hope I will continue meeting a lot of other colleagues from all around Europe thanks to the eTwinning community and I also hope to acquire some new methodologies for my lessons. My dream is to give my students the possibilty to have as many contacts as possible with other boys and girls in Europe in order to be more open-minded and become conscious citizens of the future.

I joined the eTwinning community 4 years ago and since then I have attended a lot of webinars and professional development courses. I involved my students in the eTwinning projects and they love it. You have completely different lessons with eTwinning, students learn new ICT tools, they get new friends from different countries, it is very beneficial for both them and me. We managed to get some National and European Quality Labels and a third place in the eTwinning National Prize Competition. My colleagues also started to use eTwinning and I hope they will enjoy working on the projects as much as I do. There is always something new to learn.

The eTwinning community opens a wide range of possibilities of collaborative work among professionals and students and above all it widens the concept of European citizenship.

The learning process being dynamic and meaningful as it uses the students’ own experience contributes for a quicker and more motivating teaching method. The diverse and creative debates help students to raise their awareness of the challenges of sustainable development in the world and encourage them to be informed and conscious citizens.

The methodology used contributes for media and digital literacy through the dynamic and challenging projects proposed.

Therefore, my participation on the eTwinning community may contribute to prepare students for education in high school not only because they develop the English language, but also soft skills demanded in the world of work. At the same time, it also stimulates my lifelong learning experience.

I first joined the eTwinning community in 2011. I started with a project with a Polish school to practise German. Later I started
seaching other schools to exchange experiences and projects together to practise English. Then I started with Comenius projects, etwinning and Erasmus projects. I have experienced Etwinning for many years since it was our reference website for Erasmus projects, where I was involved with teachers and students. But I had no idea about the various opportunities offered by taking part actively in its projects. This year I have been working in two projects together wit a colleague of mine who gave me the occasion to experience new teaching methods and meeting fantastic collegaues from different European countries. But above all, I have been able to touch the positive impact that such activities have had on my students. They have changed their approach to the language totally, by interacting actively with their mates and participating enthusiastically in the tasks. They love sharing their works, videos, thoughts and ideas and have improved their language and digital skills greatly. I would love to continue working in Etwinning and do hope other colleagues in my school will join me and discover the Etwinning world of professional and personal improvement!

I joined the community in 2021 and I have already founded two projects, and the second is now finishing. The first project obtained a seal of quality. The most recent project involved collaborative work with teachers and students from 3 schools in Turkey. It was very motivating for me and my students. These experiences and collaborations are very enriching, both in terms of sharing knowledge and learning. I hope to be able to continue to develop this type of projects and participate with other countries. I've been an eTwinner since 2018 and I've always been active. Participating in eTwinning projects is an excellent experience both for me and my students. I've learned a lot about innovative teaching practices, Web2 tools, and met interesting teachers from many different countries so I feel I've been enriching myself personally and professionally. My students love being on projects because they have an active and decision-making role and they improve their skills: language, communication, digital, cultural, collaboration (team work). They become more autonomous and responsible and they love meeting and speaking to students from other countries. They enjoy interacting, creating and sharing their works. They feel really proud. I've already been awarded 5 European Quality Labels and last year one of my eTwinning projects "New Literates of 21st Century", won the National Prize 2021, category Theme of the Year - Media Literacy and Disinformation. I and my class were very proud. This year I'm in 2 projects, each one with a different class, and with the support of other teachers. It was recently created the eTwinning Junior Academy with a group of very interested students and I'm the responsible teacher.
My school is an eTwinning school and I'm the eTwinning Mentor in my school. I feel very satisfied because first of all, I've succeeded in getting all my colleagues registered in eTwinning and also succeeded in motivating and involving several colleagues in projects. As I always want to learn more and more. lifelong learning experience, I'd like to have the opportunity to share experiences, learn more innovative practices, gain deeper knowledge, cooperate with other colleagues and build new relationships. I want to succeed in sharing my enthusiasm with my colleagues at school. It would be very rewarding. I think eTwinning is a powerful tool to reach our goals.

At this moment I feel already benefited, because I started to participate in Erasmus Projects by means of this community.

I can't remember how I discovered the eTwinning community. It feels so natural now planning an activity for my pupils and immediately think "How can I involve other teachers in it? How many different ideas about this topic are there to be discovered with other etwinners?" I learned a lot from my partners (planning tips, tools, methodologies) and probably I'll never be able to thank them enough!
My next goal is to be able to involve my colleagues in eTwinning to strengthen our school community and make the most of our journey together.

I've been in etwinning since 2021. I'm collaborating on some projects with two eighth grade classes and the students are really enjoying it, as it's a way of working and collaborating, in the classroom, with colleagues from other countries of the same age. . We've been making some video calls so they can get to know each other better. These are very enriching experiences from a pedagogical point of view.
I intend to continue working on projects created at my school and encourage my colleagues to collaborate.

Working with children through eTwinning has been a wonderful journey. I'm an eTwinner for more or less 5 years and one step at a time I've been discovering its potentialities. It's not a closed circuit, it's a never ending of great possibilities. I've been involved in several projects, the first ones were short term and then I moved on for long term. I've already created my one project. I realize it is possible to collaborate despite great distances, to develop language communication, to improve ICT tools and to make teaching and learning more innovative. The great achievement yet to overcome is to be able to attract other teachers to this awesome world of eTwinning that they are so frighten of. They haven't realised yet that this is a powerful tool that helps the process of teaching, learning and evaluating.

As I am an English Teacher, there is no better way to teach english as a second language. Ewtinning projects allow students to get in touch with foreign students, learn words/expressions, accents, traditions that wouldn't be possible only by using the their workbook.
It has been an incredible "trip" and I have met wonderful people. I am still a baby (4 years of etwinning) but in love with this way of working.

I've been in eTwinning since November 2019 and I was involved in some projects in my previous school, where I earned four quality labels. I learned a lot with my participation in the eTwinning projects, I manage to understand how to work in the Twinspace, learned more about different cultures and countries, learned new apps and the most important my students were motivated and involved in their learning. It was a great experience and I would love to continue. So I'm attending this course because my new school is not an eTwinning school and my colleagues don't really know eTwinning so I hope to be helpful and bring some of them to eTwinning.

The eTwinning community has brought lots of benefits to me. Firstly, it enabled me to collaborate with other teachers across Europe on international projects which introduced a new dimension into my lessons. My students became more enthousiastic and more motivated. Learning English in an international community makes lessons challenging and provides a natural context for learning. My participation in the eTwinning community has benefited me enormously. First as a source of professional development by participating in webinars and learning events. Secondly in networking with colleagues from different schools and countries in groups with sharing and being inspired by innovative pedagogies and the creative use of web tools. My first contact was when I did a MOOC on eTwinning, to complete the MOOC I did the first project (short term).
Etwinning is very important for my professional development, access to good practices (exchange of ideas), pedagogical innovation and valuing the work done by students through its dissemination.
As a teacher in public education in Portugal, I feel that my activity is very little valued at my School, participation in projects requires that I occupy my free time, that is, it translates into more hours of work, the school does not include projects in which I participate in my schedule.

I've been registered on the eTwinning platform since 2015. From 2017 I was involved, together with other colleagues, in two Erasmus+ projects related with mathematics. In addition to these, my school has been participating in other Erasmus+ projects with different countries and we have several teachers involved. Both teachers and students, they have had good experiences. I have been involved in etwinning since 2013 and have been very enthusiastic about it ever since.
Working on etwinning has greatly contributed to my professional advancement, and collaborating on projects has brought many new acquaintances, knowledge and experiences.
As the principal, I motivate my fellow teachers to get involved in etwinning, so we have already been awarded the etwinning school label (2019., 2021.). In our county we were the first holders of this label, and now five schools are holders of the etwinning school label. We are all very proud of that!

I discovered etwinning about eight years ago and I was completed involved by this new approach to learning and teaching. My first project was amazing. First of all, I believe eTwinning plays a very importante role in the teaching community. I discovered eTwinning over 10 years ago when I coordinated a Comenius project and for the last couple of years, I have tried to be an active eTwinner. My school has many Erasmus+ projects, which have proved to be extremely beneficial for our students and has resulted in the desire to become more active as an eTwinning school. Our experience has shown us that etwinning is an excellent way to help our students become more active as European citizens and become more aware of other countries realities.
