My NEC experience so far has been a rather exhausting one as never in my life have i ever spent so much of my time in a day completely devoted to a singular subject before. At the beginning, my reaction wasnt possitive at all to the changes to my timetable as at the time i was quite interested in some other subjects and without a doubt wanted to attend those periods not to mention i was also not used to studying in such a small class and being unable to see some of my other friends and it was quite frustrating. However, after a week, some of those innitial reactions died down and now even though its undeniable that i still miss my normal classroom schedule, i'd say that NEC is slowly growing on me little by little.

NEC is far from a strange experience for me at this point regarding the fact that this is my second attempt at this competition. In fact, it is the last chance for me to really achieve my personal goals. Therefore, the attitude that I have been keeping is a mixture of positivity and single-mindedness. But this is not synonymous with lauding the idea that studying for NEC is easy. Obviously an arduous and mentally draining process, NEC requires maximum efforts to be put from any students. But I always try to look on the bright side of things, I got to receive a multitude of financial assistance from the school.

Generally speaking, before having entered NEC, I've heard that it was a very tiring and time-consuming experience as it demanded a hefty amount of efforts to memorize and study all the materials by heart. Having been a part of NEC for a short period, I think that the additional qualifications and experience it will bring may actually be worth, albeit the rumor I had heard beforehand is, for the most part, true. It also left me quite uncertain as I might not be able to catch up with my peers in Math or Literature.

2 words cross my mind regarding my NEC experience until now: exhausting but memorable. It is no doubt that delving oneself into NEC training is exhausting. Individuals have to immerse themselves into study 'til the late hours, numerous books. In addition, we have to come to school everyday regardless of weather with no days off. However, the NEC days with my teammates is promising to be memorable. We can use the "power" of NEC students to skip any class I dislike, even skip that terrible "phan ban", get bonus points on exams

Personally speaking, working fast and furious has become rather the mantra of the NEC, and accordingly, my current learning process is as fast-paced as you can imagine, especially when my academic performances are inferior compare to the others’, and we have like 3 months until the official exam begins. It is compelling to say that once you get into this team, the expectations are even higher, so are your responsibilities, and several students are experiencing burnout, mental issues, and permanent fatigue. However, I also feel blessed and grateful I fortunately attained one of my goals and until now, the experiences are also stimulating and exciting as well, when we get many chances to do things we could never before like skipping other lessons to concentrate more on the subject we all love.

My NEC experience so far has been rather positive. On the one hand, just like everyone else, it is very exhausting with a huge amount of work and assignments. i think i even have less time to fool around than with just normal school curriculum. On the other hand, im still having a rather enjoyable time. The class has a more laid-back vibe and i get to skip a lot of subjects that i don't enjoy. im looking forward to what to come.

Personally, I’ve never participated in any national competition before so I’m not really sure what to make of it. Obviously my feelings are same as others, funny because I get to skip classes so more time to stay at home. I’m a bit anxious because I don’t know what to expect in 2 months or so. I can take advantage of this to skip some tests and exams as well. But I hope it will grow on me soon
