In this same article however, Huston details she would have been 'miserable' with marrying Jack, in relation to lack of trust due to his fondness of multiple women.
This opposes Nicholson's usual charming and charismatic image, showing the darker side to the actor.
It is strange to note that despite Nicholson's many affairs, it has never diminished his image. It is arguable, that in the days of the #MeToo movement that this sort of behaviour would be brushed under the carpet as seamlessly today.
It is obvious that Jack saw a lot of women as mere sexual objects, which should perhaps decrease his lovability and popularity; however it hasn't.
