Stanley was sent to Camp Green Lake for 18 months as punishment in affect of stealing back home. Stanley and his family are cursed with bad luck.

Stanley meets all of the staff members at camp green lake. Stanley has to dig holes at least 5 feet wide and 5 feet long every single day in order to find the secret treasure that romes Camp Green Lake. Stanley finds nothing. Soon later Zero hit Mr. Pandanski in the face with a shovel causing Zero to run away and Stanley chasing.

Stanley and Zero run and climbed Big thumb and lived off onions for months but than Stanley and Zero find a suitcase with lots of jems and money they found the hidden treasure but there was yellow spotted lizards everywhere.

They figure out that the suitcase had Stanley's name on in. They did it they Stanley and Zero found the hidden treasure on Camp Green Lake, they both out out safely and after than it rained for the first time in 100 years. After that all the boys at the Camp got sent home and Camp closed for good.

After all that the boys were finally free and the warden got arrested as well and all the boys from Camp partied a Stanley's house and Stanley's family became rich!

I honestly really enjoyed this book and how it was really interesting as well. The author did a great job at getting the readers attention and I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read it.
