Measures - We could use renewable energy, Renewable energy is energy from renewable natural resources that are replenished on a human timescale. Using renewable energy technologies helps with climate change mitigation, energy security, and also has some economic benefits.

Measure - targets for green houses gas emissions in key sectors of the economy promoting the use of renewable energy and low carbon fuels energy efficiency improvements in buildings

I think the current measurement good for the current situation because it give more energy and less products

Solution:Waste reduction

Firstly, government should lay proper guidelines and set limits for industrial emissions ,Industries which do not follow these rules should be fined heavily.Secondly, it should be made mandatory for them to compensate the pollution they create with other environmental activities.

In the UAE,they have special ways of reducing industrial pollution like converting waste into energy, treating waste water and reducing plastic

Currently, there is no law but they are still trying to stop it by activities like eliminating waste and promoting the use of non toxic or less toxic substances

Effect - Ocean plastic pollution and harm to marine life.

Solution - Cut back on single-use plastic

• Use reusable coffee cups and shopping bags instead of single-use ones. ...

• When you shop, consider buying some grocery items in bulk by filling your own containers.

• Choose products with less plastic packaging and support businesses that are working to reduce their plastic waste.

The UAE government has banned plastic bags effective since the beginning of 2024. The UAE government has proposed a ban on the importation of plastic cutlery, cups, Styrofoam and boxes effective January 1, 2026.
Every year, about 380 million tonnes of plastic is being produced, for utilities in our daily life (bags, accessories, school material...), most of these end up polluting our habitats and our planet. There are several ways to help slow down melting of glaciers

One by reducing carbon emmisions. carbon emmisions cause global warming but to much will keep heat inside and melt glaciers

Using solar energy fossil fuels releases carbon into atmosphere heating the planet but solar energy doesn’t use carbon so does wind energy and water energy and geo thermal energy these all help stop global warming

UAE is installing solar and nuclear power, investing in carbon capture and storage and carbon dioxide removal technologies, and producing oil and gas in a way to make less carbon dioxide
