Fake piece of news, hoax: masks are useless, they don't protect people from COVID-19, it can pass through; masks make you inhale a too big percentage of carbon dioxide making you suffocate.
True piece of news: masks ARE useful to prevent the spreading of this disease, but they don't interfer with normal respiration. Masks are full of holes which are big enough to change the gases with the outern ambient, but are little enough to prevent the virus from getting out of the filter. Of course, this applies only if you wear correctly your mask and you don't do any athletic activity.
