Hello, I would like to share my views on the interview.
My favorite theme was plurilingualism because this is something that I find really beautiful andsomething I am interested in. It was very kind of Jake to talk about it.
I also liked it when Jake talked about "SAND".

Thanks for this enriching experience! It made me improve my communication skills and expand my human horizons. I talked to a famous person...This is a dream come true.

A Stimulating Conversation on the LGBTQ+ Community <3

My favorite moment was when Jake talked about the LGBTQ+ community because homosexual people are human beings and must be respected. They must have the same rights as heterosexuals do.

The part I loved the most was when Jake said that his friends had helped him when he had to face difficulties in his life and when he was criticized for his sexual orientationby prejudiced people.

I found it stimulating to get to have a real person talk to us about this aspect because it encourages us to speak to people who are in this situation so as to help them.

I think this experience made me feel closer to Jake.

My favorite part of the interview was when he talked about his work as a translator because this is a subject I am interested in.

I was suprised with how kind Jake was.

I found it stimulating that he talked about translation because it is something I am drawn to.

I think this exprerience brought me more knowledge.

As for me, my favourite theme was Jake's relationship to the languages in his life because we had previously worked on it. It was interesting to get to know another viewpoint.

The part I found most compelling was when Jake told us about his job as a translator because I did not know anything about it since I had never heard of it before.

As far as I am concerned, this experience brought me confidence to talk to someone I did not know, because I am generally very shy with strangers.

I found it stimulating that we had the oppportunity to talk to an American. I did not think that I would do something like that at school.

A Great Conversation

My favorite theme was Jake's relationship to the languages in his life because I found it interesting to learn about the reasons why he chose to learn so many languages and I wanted to know if he had the same perception of languages as I do.

My favorite part of this interview was when Jake talked about the reasons why he had wanted to learn Yiddish. His familly stopped speaking it generations ago and he chose to learn more about his ancestors' story/ies and routines through Yiddish and through Yiddish literature.

This interview brought me to a better understanding of how important languages are on the international stage. It also helped me improve my oral expression skills.

An Interesting and Enriching Experience with Jake Schneider :)

My favorite theme was his work as a translator because I wanted to know more about this job but from people who do it. I think it's a very beautiful occupation because you have to be able to understand, handle and play with words in order to translate a text. I like that. I like what translators do and the way they do it.

The part I loved the most was when Jake talked about his personnal relationship to different languages because I wanted to know more about how he lived everyday in so many languages. I also wanted to know what each language conveyed to him and the reasons why he had chosen to learn these particular languages rather than others. Plus, I was touched when Jake answered my questions and I loved that I got to ask these for real.

I found this experience very enriching because I could talk to a real native speaker of the English language. It made me practice my English; it was like a trainning. I would love to do it again.

It brought me knowledge because Jake shared his point of view on plurilingualism, he talked about his job and it was very interesting.

Plurilingualism in danger

My favourite theme was plurilingualism  because it's very interesting to know why a lot of languages disapear in the world.

My favourite part of the interview was when Jake  showed us the cover of "SAND" magazine because the pictures were so clear and coloured.

His voice was so interesting because we could really hear how passionate he was.

His views on plurilingualism introduced me to other viewpoints on the dangers plurilingualism faces nowadays and it made me more aware of how important it is to promote it.

Hello everybody,

My favorite theme was his personal relationship to the languages in his life because I was interested in the different languages he could speak such as Yiddish and German.

My favorite part of the interview was when Jake explained the reasons why he wanted to learn Yiddish because I like that he keeps his family's heritage alive.

I have learnt about the importance of languages in society and about the different cultural assets that minority languages can bring us.

I found it inspiring that Jake could speak so many languages!

My favorite theme was on his work as a translator because it allowed me to learn many different things about this job.

My favorite part of the inteview was when Jake Schneider spoke about translating a poem during a magic trick!

My favorite theme was his work as a translator because he explained the reasons why he loves doing this job and the qualities that are requiered to be a translator.

It's not a job that I would like to do but I find it interesting.

My favorite part of the interview was when Jake talked about his family culture and the languages he learnt because they were not passed down from generation to generation.

I found this experience interesting because I discovered a job that I did not know very well. This experience gave me more knowlege.

What I most liked about this experience was getting to ask questions to a translator.

My favorite part of the interview was when Jake talked about his job as a translator; it was very interesting.

What I take from it all is how exceptional it is; it's not something you get to do everyday!

My favorite topics were minority languages and "SAND" magazine because Jake answered our questions very precisely and you could feel that he was very involved and that he enjoyed talking about these aspects.

My favorite part of the interview was when I had the opportunity to have a brief conversation with Jake which was very rewarding to me.

What I found most enriching during the interview was the way he talked about the languages that he can speak now. To him, each language has a story behind it. This is something I find very interesting.

The interview brought me is a sense of how different the importance each society gives to a language can be depending on how each society perceives it.

Jake, you are lucky to know several languages and to live your passion!
