<br>Lakenja Barnes – 8 stages and psycho-social crisis
<br>•	Erikson created a chart about each stage in our life span. There are 8. Each stage is important and significant.
<br>•	First stage sets the foundation of life. If positive traits occur, they will follow you through life, also applies to negative traits. 
<br>•	If a person does not successfully control a stage, there may be problems in his or her life that will continue. There may be negative traits formed, but you and overcome them and create positive traits. 
<br>Jeronica Kelly – Situational compliance
<br>•	Action of SC is cooperative but it lacks a sincere commitment so it becomes more like an obligation.
<br>•	Motivated by eagerness to place + a tendency to avoid conflict + confrontation. 
<br>•	Emotions play aa a big factor in SC. 
<br>Kayla Jacobs – Marital capital
<br>•	All property acquired by either spouse during the marriage is marital property, and is subject to equitable division upon divorce. 
<br>•	The courts have no authority over non-marital property. 
<br>•	Property is assumed to be marital property except for gifts, inheritance, etc…. 
<br>Alexa wiechert – Plasticity 
<br>•	Plasticity of the brain = Neuroplasticity. 
<br>•	Neuroplasticity is defined as “the ability to change and adapt in response to experience
<br>•	It is important b/c it allows humans to learn and grow throughout their lifetime. 
<br>Taylor Jones – Social learning theory. 
<br>•	Developed by albert Bandura 
<br>•	Observational learning: when one learns an act or behavior from watching someone else. 
<br>•	Based on behavior, environment and cognition. 
<br>Amber Lewis – Separation anxiety. 
<br>•	Separation anxiety is common or normal in children 8-14 months old. 
<br>•	A reason it can extend beyond the normal age range is because its seen as a child being “over-dependent” 
<br>•	To reach diagnosis of separation anxiety disorder, the anxiety must affect social, academic, or job functioning for at least one month.

Kinyahnna Jackson: Intelligence
<br>•	Ability to solve problems to adapt learn from experiences
<br>•	Intelligence comes in 3 forms analytical, creative and practical
<br>•	A test is given to analyze a individual in 5 ares: fluid reasoning, knowledge, quanitve reasoning, visual memory, working memory was the standard Stanford Bennet test
<br>
<br>Shea Minor: Personality
<br>•	Definition combination of temperament a person is born with
<br>•	Tripartite Theory: Id, Ego, Super Ego
<br>•	Personality disorders: Issues with the mind that include long standing thought processes that lead to unhealth behaviors
<br>Courtney Swan: Jean Piaget
<br>•	Observes his own 3 children and other kids then concluded that children think in different ways then adults
<br>•	Cognitive theory: children actively construct there understanding of the world and go through 4 stages of cognitive development
<br>•	4 stages sensorimotor, preparational, concert operational, formal operational
<br>Madison Orr: Teratogens
<br>•	 Can be alcohol, street drugs, prescribed medication, disease present in mother’s body, incompatible blood types, and environmental hazards
<br>•	Usably abnormalities surface in the 3rd to 8th weeks of pregnancy
<br>•	Incompatible blood types between the mother and baby can cause the mothers immune system to produce antibodies
<br>Kayla Parish: Genitive Memory
<br>•	Known as implicit memory
<br>•	Long term memory can affect your thoughts
<br>•	Memory without recondition involves skills and routines procedures.
