bottle bowling will be helpful for the 11 month old to build both their motor skills. With this activity, the child will be able to learn how to hold a slightly bigger item (the ball) and will learn to push it towards the bottle. Holding the ball helps with their fine motor skills as well. Pushing and/or rolling the ball helps with their gross motor skills because child will then use arms and body to push the bal forward. It also helps with their hand-eye-coordination as the child will be looking at the ball and will aim the ball towards the bottle.

The box also has wheels so that it can be pushed around.

Rationale:

The child shows natural curiosity to explore inside the tin so she may be more intrinsically motivated to explore flappers and may be delighted to discover the activities inside. The knob and sliders helps her develop her gross and fine motor skills in terms of big and small muscles used to perform rotational and horizontal movements. Strength required can also be adjusted with tightness of knob and slider, so it is highly customizable according to child's strength development. Wheels can help her with engaging her core and lower limbs, and she may find it fun to push her little toy around!!

Present Milestone: As the baby is 11 months old. Can sit independently. She is able to hold objects in her hand pressing against her palm (i.e. Palmar grasp). And she is also can at holding objects with her thumb and pointer finger (i.e. Pincer grasp). Can Transfer objects from one hand to another.
Activity: I think the activity suggested for her will be sorting of objects and putting them in different spaces on the cupcake tray. With Objects as balls and beads of different sizes.
Gorss motor skills: This will help her master her balancing body, moving her body around the tray to get the objects. That’s to fine tune her Gorss motor skills. This activity also can help her transferring objects from one hand to another skill at points as well.
Fine Motor skills: For Fine Motor skills as she will use both her hands and fingers to hold the objects we can use small/big beads her both palmer and pincer grasp’s will also be mastered.

It also improves fine motor skills like finger coordination while using a pincer or whole hand grasp. It helps to understand cause and effect concept as when the block falls, the baby learns the result for its action. With this activity, we can also introduce spatial awareness like on top of, beside, and balance etc.
