As a child, my favourite memories of all time was a tag game called manhunt. Although it was daunting at first with one "manhunter" against a whole array of competitors, it was a fond memory to build a team, then live and laugh as we accomplished our feats.

My favourite play memory as a child was capture the flag. As a PE class, we used to go into the forest in-front of our school and split into teams. I remember hiding in bushes and trying to run across open areas as my heart pounded over the possibility of getting caught. No matter your gender, size, or friend-group at the time, we were all equals when we played capture the flag and it brought us the most joyful experiences.

One of my play memories involved the numerous times I would be playing at the park with my friends during Summer break, and even after school on sunny days. I always lived close to my school, so it would be very easy to walk to the park and hang out with my friends for hours until someone's parents called them back for dinner. There would be days when we would go home for dinner, and then immediately come back to play together afterwards.

One of the games we would always play would be grounders, where one individual was "it" and would try to tag the other people who were on the playground equipment. The person who was "it" could only have their eyes open when they were on the ground, but on the playground equipment would have to keep their eyes closed.

There were a lot of opportunities for me to play with my friends as a kid, and I really enjoyed myself as a child.
