A microphone is an instrument for converting sound waves that may be amplified, transmitted, or recorded.

How did this impact the phone?The phone was able to communicate with others.

Past: Microphone started as a sting phone( sounds transmitter with metallic strip  attached to a vibrating membrane that would produce intermittent current.). These system gave poor sound quality.

Present: A loud speaker with a diaphragm, coil, and magnet. They're used in sound recording, hearing aids, and telephones( to communicate.)

Future: A wireless transmitter that goes into our ear  buds and produces a type of sound that wouldn't damage your ears. They are used for deaf people to revive their hearing, remind people of the things they need to do, and are unable to break the great. They are made out of a small digital file in our phones( the circuits on the phone.)

This impacts the phone by making things simpler to control and use up less space, rather then have more space to press different buttons that you don't know will do.

Past: On your phone you don't have a screen to play games and go set a reminder for yourself. You only have a small box, which tells you the number you're dialing. 

Present: The screen is bigger for us to see information and simple to use. It produces a blue for the users to stay awake.

How does this impact the phone? This impacted the phone by keeping important information for the user to use.

Past:  Storage in the past couldn't be kept inside the phone much, since they weren't advanced enough. They either kept little to no data of any information other then the codes to call and receive them.

Present: We are able to download many different types of apps to work with our society. These apps function with our control to make our lives easier( research data, translate a text, ect.)

How does this impact the phone? People were able to take photos of what they think are important.

Past: People were unable to take photos on their phones since they thought it was just waste of time and space.

Present: People are now able to take photos of things they want and can check them immediately. They are able to change things in the photos if they think they don't like it.

Future: The people are now able to take picture through air holograms and their glasses. This impacts the phone by transferring data from one place to another.

Past: Phones are much thicker back then because the phones were required to be wrapped inside( with copper and magnets) more. This is mainly used for calls.

Present: The wires are compressed into small chips and was inputted into the phone. They become wireless and sends out a signal( internet and calls).

The user would be able to hear what is going on to receive data.

Past: The quality of an old phone's sound a very poor and people couldn't understand each other well ( tin can and wire). 

Present: The quality is a lot better, however there are times when the audio is cut off or stutter. The audio is dependable on the signal of the internet/ near by cell towers.

How does this impact the phone?
Lights allows users to see things in the surrounding area(like flash light and the blue light that shines around the phone).

Past: The phone didn't have as much light as much as we do today. The phones back then had some dark colored lights and it was hard for people to see(like when your phone's brightness is all the way down).

Present: We have bright light that is able to shine around us, so that we would be able to see. Blue light is produce, which keeps us awake and addicted, However, because of this we stay up longer and damage our eyes by staring too much.

Future: We now have a new type of light that doesn't harm our eyes now and it is healthy for us to stare( what I mean is that it I not as harmful as before. It's still bad). Past: The old phone had many complicated buttons that tried to make things simple for you to use.

Present: There's only the on/off button and volume button. The rest of the choices from the old phone was made into apps that you use today.

Future: There won't be any buttons. This was the main power source for the phone to function.

Past: The container that stored energy required to obtain that energy with a wire, however it was getting the new energy very slowly.

Present: It is being charged a little fast with wires. This is a new step forward to increase the energy of the phone.

Future: The phone has a wireless charging and it is faster then ever before. It only takes about a few minutes to charge your whole phone.
