It is irrefutably true that one is not able to deal with pollution entirely. However, some certain habits of each individual can partly contribute to the protection of the environment. An example to illustrate this point is that inhabitants predominantly bring recycling bags instead of using plastic ones with them whenever they go shopping. Thanks to this, the number of wastes dumped into nature has decreased considerably. Hence, minor actions from each person play a great role in dealing with environmental issues

 Despite the fact above, it is worth noting that authorities are vital to coping with this headache. Governments have the power to make people stop doing illegal activities that cause environmental problems. They are able to impose a levy on companies that dump toxic substances into the surrounding areas, which a single person cannot do. On account of this, factories will be more aware and follow regulations more strictly. In consequence, pollution in an area will be remarkably reduced.

 To sum up, I think that  an individual has no influence, but it is the governments and administrators that need to take action for the purpose of combating this issue. Nevertheless, in order to tackle the problem effectively, these people are required to cooperate and work alongside each other.
