         <description><![CDATA[<p>Characters : </p><p>     Isabel,Ivan and Luis</p><p>Chapter Summary:</p><p>      It's a little bit colder in the water than it is on the boat when Isabel takes a turn in it. Isabel's mother believes that her contractions have started while they are in the boat. Joking about the baby's name, Ivan and Isabel soon lose their enjoyment when they see sharks in the sea. Ivan gets bitten on the leg, and he starts to bleed heavily. He is pulled onto the boat, but his wounds cause him to pass away. Luis fires at the shark, drawing more of them to encircle the boat.</p><p>What shocked me the most:</p><p>       The part that shocked me the most in this chapter its the part when Ivan got bitten on his lag by a shark and because of the injuries he passed away </p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Characters :</p><p>Fatima,Hana and Mahmoud</p><p><br></p><p>Chapter summery:</p><p>    On Lesbos, there is another tent city populated entirely by refugees. Fatima tries to find out more about Hana by walking about, but she is unable. The family purchases ferry tickets to Athens. Mahmoud is concerned about Waleed since he appears to be mentally ill all the time. <br><br>    Mahmoud surmises that the visitors aboard the boat are presumably repulsed by the refugees. He understands that in order to inspire others to assist them, refugees must be noticeable to those in their immediate vicinity. The family will next go by train to the border with Macedonia.</p><p><br></p><p>What shocked me the most:</p><p>    The part that shocks me the most is that Mahmoud thinks that the tourists are disgusted because the refugees are around them</p><p><br></p><p>What impressed me the most:</p><p>    The part that impressed me the most is that Mahmoud is trying to find a way to make refugees more visible to those around them , and motivate anyone that want to help them</p><p><br></p><p><br><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>  • Somewhere in the Mediteranean, two thousand and fifteen •</p><p>  • Location Off the Mediteranean Sea</p><p>  • Characters: MAHMUD, mother, father, Waleed, Greek saviors</p><p>  •The action. MAHMUD was at Sea with his mother, after the lifeboat were on sank. They were exhausted and had dreamed that a boat would come to save them, which was reality. He had his phone in pocket, which he raised above he head to be discovered  by the rescuers. They were saved by a boat of the Greek coast guard, in which were the father and the brother Waleed. They and other refugees were landed on the Island of Lesbos. On the beach they found many life jackets and many bodies.</p><p> Mahmud's mother is still looking for their sister Hana.</p><p>  •What impressed me in this Chapter? What impressed me in this Chapter is Mahmud's joy at the moment of meeting his family in the Greek coast boat, which had come to save them</p><p>  • What shocked me in this Chapter? I was shocked by the fact that MAHMUD and his father were looking for shoes among the corpses of the refugees</p>]]></description>

         <title>   • Chapter thirty four- JOSEF • RUSU RARES</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p> •Off the harbor  of Havana, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine on the ship St. Louis</p><p>  • Location: Off the port of Havana</p><p>  • Characters: Josef, mother, Ruthie, the Cuban hero policeman (Mariano Padron), the translator, Captain Schroeder</p><p>  • The action: Josef is near the parapet on the deck of the ship St. Louis from where his father had jumped to kill himself.</p><p>  Josef was ashamed of the situation, because there where reports who come to film the tragedy.</p><p> At the same tine, the people on bord were guarded by Cuban policeman, who supplied them with fruit.</p><p>  In the boats were relatives of the people on bord, to send messages to each other.</p><p>  Cuban police boats patrolled the ship at night to monitor the refugees.</p><p>  With the arrived of a Cuban police boat, Josef found  out that the Cuban hero was in that boat was the Cuban hero, who saved his father from the Sea.</p><p> The policeman' s meme was Mariano Padron.</p><p>  Captain Schroeder also arrived to Say thank you the hero receives a hundred German marks as a gift from the passengers.</p><p>  At the policemen's meeting with Josef' mother, he tells him that their father is in the hospital, sedaded and that he will live.</p><p>  The hero policeman plays with Josef's sister, Ruthie.</p><p>  What impressed me in this Chapter: I was impressed by the Cuban hero's modesty( Mariano Padron).</p><p>  What shocked me in this Chapter: I was shocked by the question that the refugees asked the policeman' "When do we get Off the ship?"</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Characters:Josef,Routie,The conductor of the orchestra,Pozner,Otto Schiendick</p><p>Location:On the coast of America in Miami and <br>on the ship</p><p>The action:In this chapter we are presented with Joseph's journey with his mother on the ship on the way to the American coast, at the end of the journey Joseph learns that he is baptized after his mother's brother who died in the war in France. But towards the end of the chapter a journey which was supposed to end well, turns out to be a disappointment because they were denied access to America, therefore they have to go back to Germany where they knew they would be put back in the camp, but a group on the ship did not have the same next attempt to take control of the ship and fail to land it on the shore of the American coast</p><p>What shocked me the most:I was most shocked by the fact that Pozner wanted to lose control of the ship and crash it on the coast</p><p>What imprest me the most:I was most impressed by the attitude of Joseph's mother, who was happy and cheerful compared to the rest of the people.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Characters:Josef,Officer Padron,the Captain</p><p><br/></p><p>Another family's father is allowed to come on board with his family, but no more refugees can get off the ship. Despite Officer Padron's efforts to explain, the other passengers insist that the family in question has the "right papers." The passengers worry that the ship is heading back to Germany since the engines are now running. The ship's captain has not made any announcements to clarify the situation. After meeting with the president of Cuba, the captain boards the ship only to discover that they have been denied passage. The captain mentions they will search for a place to land on the American coast, but they must leave by tomorrow. Josef is anxious about being separated from his father, who remains in Cuba.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>What shocked me the most?</p><p>The fact that Josef’s father had to remain in Cuba.</p><p><br/></p><p>What impressed me the most?</p><p>Is how the captain saved the situation by looking for a spot on American coast.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

Lito suggests removing Ivan's body from the yacht, much to Isabel and Senora Castillo's disappointment. Before Ivan's father buries his body in the sea, the group says a prayer for him. When Luis shoots a shark, diverting their attention, the other sharks feast on it instead of Ivan's body. Isabel clings tightly to his baseball cap left on the boat. In the distance, they spot Miami on the horizon...</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>What shocked me the most?</p><p>Sharks didn’t ate Ivan’s body,but they ate the shark that was shot by Luis.</p><p><br/></p><p>What impressed me the most?</p><p>The fact that they prayed for his soul before burying him in the sea.</p>]]></description>
