Hello Mrs. Gay

I enjoyed our book Bad Feminist. I thought the thought-provoking ideas you played with in this book were very clever. My favorite part of the book is about how you got into Scramble and the culture around it. You really have a way of engulfing your readers in your world. You have strong and informational opinions about sex, race, and gender, and I love hearing what you have to say. I do have one question. You talk a lot about how media shapes the culture, but you don't explain how to combat that. Do you believe there is a way? Or do we just want our media to tell us who we are? I didn't want much just to explain my deep appreciation for this book. Hope all is well.

Best,

Dashae Engler
