I was visiting an exhibition with a friend and it was quite packed with people. We were walking along the exhibition and taking photos when I saw two girls contemplating on taking a photo together. They clearly wanted to take a photo together with the exhibition but as there were many people, they did not know who to approach and wanted to settle for a selfie. I approached them and offered to take a photo for them. They were very thankful as they thought they would not be able to get a photo together at the exhibition.

When I was running errands in the weekend, I met my elderly neighbour who looked lost and worried. I approached her and asked her what had happened. She shared that she wanted to book a Gojek ride to visit her son at Pasir Ris but didn’t know how to use the application on her phone. I taught her how to use the application and helped her book a ride. I also showed her how she can use the app for future rides. I waited for her Gojek driver to arrive and sent her safely before continuing my errands. :)

During the Chinese new year this year, many of my relatives who are working and staying in Singapore cannot go back to Malaysia for reunion dinner. My wife and I prepared a vegetarian lunch on 1st day of the CNY and invited them to my house for gathering and eating. Yesterday, 6 April 2022, me, Xiang Hong, Nick and Nickerline were playing around the school. Suddenly, the staff aunty at the school called us and asked us to help her carry some boxes to the second level as she found it hard to do it so herself. We happily agreed as the four of us love to help other people :] She thanked us profusely for the good deed we had done and we told her that if she needs anymore help, she can reach out to us anytime :D The four of us felt good when we helped the staff aunty as we love to see others happy and grateful :]

[Happened at 4 April 2022, at 3.15pm]

It was after school. However, l need to stay back for 20 minutes for homework. After homework was finally done, l was finally dismissed at 3.00pm. After taking the bus 329, and another bus 109, l was redirected to the overhead bridge after alighting. After crossing the overhead bridge, l saw a old aunt was having trouble carrying something and requires the lift. So l followed her, and later after that l helped her to carry the heaviest things. Although l still struggled to carry it, l managed to maintain my energy level and helped her carrying it. However, as there is time constrain, l only managed to help her until she reached the lift. The aunt was grateful for my help and that is where l done a good deed.

When i was at a restaurant waiting for my food to come, the person in front of me accidentally dropped some coins. I quickly helped him pick up his coins and passed it back to him, he thanked me for picking up his coins, i felt happy for doing a good deed that day.

On 6th April , I was walking back home after school and I saw a child running around on a rainy day and fell down on a drain and I walked to the kid to help her out by holding her hand and ask her to stand up , I went to check her knee if it was hurt or bleeding and thankfully it was not and I checked with her if anywhere else hurts and she said “no” lucky she was not hurt and is alright.

After my mother had passed away, I realised that we could not afford another helper to help us around the house. That was when my father decided that we had to be more independent and help ourselves more. So I gladly volunteered to help with about half of the house chores like washing the dishes and doing the laundry, and I plan to keep it this way for long as I want to make my mother happy with me showing responsibility for myself :)

It was me and my mother only. We were talking while walking at the same time then suddenly, we saw an Auntie fall down with her trolley too. We quickly run towards her and carry her to nearest sit. After we done that I clean up the area since all the groceries fell down from the trolley. And I bring the trolley to the Aunty. My mother ask her if she remember any of her family members number luckily, she know her daughter number. So my mother call the Aunty daughter number to picked her up. So we waited for her daughter to come to pick up the Aunty. A few minutes later, the daughter came and thank us for helping her Mother. Me and my mother felt proud since we just did a good deed.

She asked me if I wanted to purchase tissues. I felt bad and gave her $2 and only took one pack of tissue only. Recently, there was a maid that was carrying a baby and a bunch of shopping bags. I was buying food for my grandfather and had entered the lift when she started running towards the lift I was in. One day, My friends and I were walking around at Hougang interchange and we spotted old auntie. She seemed that she was lost and needed help. My friends and I stepped up and offered help to the auntie. She needed to buy 3 blue umbrella for her son. We then showed her the way to the nearest mall and leading her there as she seemed to not be so familiar with Hougang. Minutes later, we reached the place and bought her the 3 umbrellas. She felt grateful and complimented us for being kind and for helping her. In the end, we felt proud and happy as we all did a good deed together.

[Happened at 7 May]
After I had attended my Saturday classes, it was raining heavily but luckily I had brought an umbrella. On reaching the traffic lights, I suddenly saw one of my classmates using his bag as shelter without an umbrella, so instinctively, I ran over as soon as the traffic lights turned green and sheltered him with my umbrella. Luckily it was able to fit both of us and we quickly made our way to the closest sheltered area. After doing that good deed, I felt good and warm inside as it made me feel happy when offering someone help.

When I was reaching home, there was a man who was carrying a trolley of parcel and going to deliver it to someone. Unfortunately, the lift was not in service and it would be very heavy to carry the trolley of parcel up the stairs. I asked him what level he was going. He said he was going to the 5th floor. There was a lift that goes to level 5 and is connected to the block I was going, so I told him to take that lift instead. In case he was lost, I followed him and after I saw that he gave the parcel, I went up to the floor that my house was at.

I was going home at the time. After I alighted from the bus, I saw an old uncle who live around my neighbourhood carrying his groceries. Then as he was walking, he almost tripped down and dropped his groceries. A lady came in and help him by asking if he is fine and take the bag of groceries to help and followed him back home. About 5 months ago, I was eating lunch with my P4 buddy who is now i think sec 4 or 5. I was drinking hot milo at a ceramic table outside of school. A random person came up to us, seemed like he was in his 30s-40s. He asked if i had a charger and wire he could use but i did not have the correct wire for him. He told us he was trying to find his family as he was lost so I gave him some money to go to a nearby public phone to use. He thanked us and walked away. My buddy warned me to be more wary of scammers that might try to take advantage of me but that stranger seemed like he was telling the truth so i just gave him the money. On the way home, at the interchange there are always aunty and uncles selling tissue and seeing majority of them disabled and this is the only solution to make a few dollars a day. Seeing them always getting rejected by the public makes me feel very bad for them but they don’t have a choice. i was on my way home from school, i saw an uncle sitting hg interchange and i saw that he had an open wound and it was bleeding pretty badly. i went to the nearest shop and bought a packet of tissues for him to stop the bleeding. he was very thankful and i felt happy that he appreciated it.

In primary 5, I found a card from the condominium I lived in on the floor of the lrt station. I picked it up and when I reached back home, I went to the admin office of my condo and returned the card. Right after I returned the card, I heard someone shouting in my direction. I turned around and I saw a lady running towards me and waited for her. She finally reached where I was and thanked me. At first, I was very confused, but then I realised that she lost her card and found it thanks to me. I told her it was no problem and not to mention it.

i was on the MRT train going home after spending time with my friends outside. i saw a pregnant lady was having difficulties standing up for too long. she also seems like she was going to faint as i assume that she was having work all day. i felt bad for her so i decided to give her the seat i was seating. i gesture her to sit down. i could see how happy she was to have someone kind to give her the seat. i was relief that she was okay and i am glad i did the right thing.

so i was walking home from school one day, then i saw a boy fall down from his bike, and before i could go to help him, i saw another boy rush up to him to accompany him to the nearest bench. i immediately went up to them and offered my help, which they agreed. since i did not have tissue, i had to borrow the uninjured boys' one. i saw the wound, and it wasn't that bad, and i helped put some pressure on it and asked the uninjured boy to lead him back home. they were around 11 so it was fine.
